I purchased these bulbs to replace my stock lamps which had still not burned out after 4.5 years of service. I considered Silverstar Ultra’s first but I saw several reviews reporting very short lifespan. The Nighthawk Sports may not be as bright as Silverstars (which is probably why they last longer). They do seem brighter than stock lamps and definitely have a cooler color. The color is much closer to pure white verging on bluish. I’d recommend them

used these in a 94 lincoln mark VIII. These cars have bad headlights. I was driving around with brights on and they were not putting out as much light as normal low beams… Did a headlight restore and switched bulbs and EVERYTHING is lit up now GREAT!

Just got 4 of these to put in the high and low beams of our Yukon Denali and was a bit disappointed. We have always used the Sylvania Silverstars and thought we would try these for a change since they had decent reviews by others. They were cheaper than the Silverstar bulbs only because Amazon had a special BOGO free…but without that special, they would have costed more than the Silverstars. I do not see a difference between these lights and your everyday standard halogen bulb…no bright-white light, and for sure no white-blue tinting at all. If I didn’t have $50 invested in them I would take them out and put in the Silverstars. The bulbs themself to me only deserved 2 stars, but I gave them 3 because I got 4 bulbs for $49…would have been $67 for 4 Silverstars.

My dealer wanted over $100 to replace the headlights in my car. I did it myself in a few minutes. The lamps are as good or better than the Toyota bulbs I replaced. They have a very slight blue tint but by no means are they the same true-white color as HID bulbs.

Update 8/08: Amazon almost doubled the price from a month ago from $14 to $25. Get the two pack which is just a few dollars more at $30.
