I bought this light when Amazon has buy one get one sale.
It worked great as advertised. Much better than my old OEM light granted that my OEM light has been used for about 10 years.
Make sure you buy the correct light. Low bean light and high bean light have different model numbers. Take a look at the note section in the product description before you buy. It wasn’t clear to me at first.

…compared to the bulbs I already had. Yes, I know the description says “compared to standard GE bulbs”. My bulbs, though were bought on ebay 6 years ago for 10 dollars. There’s also that bit that says, “high performance, blue-white light”. These are not anywhere near blue nor white– they’re rather distinctly yellow.

I installed these low beam bulbs on my car and saw that they are way brighter than Sylvanias (they were 2 years old). Especially with the BOGO sale going on for these it is a good deal.

This is not as bright at other lights but I chose it for its longer life. There is a compromise between rated life and quality of the light. Use these ratings as a guide. They come from the manufacturer’s web sites.

Replaced standard GE 9006 halogen bulbs with the GE Nighthawk 9006 bulbs. They produced a much brighter, wider, and cleaner (no dark spots on road) beam of light than the standard bulbs. Also tried Sylvania Extra Vision and Sylvania Silverstar and I like these bulbs much better. Would definately buy again.
